Fall Women’s Fast
Since time immemorial, women have gathered to celebrate, honor and support life. In doing so we form a sisterhood deeply rooted in our own authentic nature. As we join together to share our stories across a spectrum of years, we hear echoes of our own wisdom and intuitive knowing, and we remind each other that we are enough; we are beautiful; we are powerfully creative.
What are the questions you’re carrying now at this time in your life? Are you seeking restoration? Reconnection to self and the natural world? Affirmation of a completed transition? Time alone just to BE?
Please join us to better understand your life transitions and stages of growth and to reaffirm your natural vitality and sense of well-being. We offer a circle of care and compassion for befriending those events in life that have fragmented a sense of wholeness. The ceremony makes space for all of us to slow down and to find what we may have lost in the frenetic pace and challenges of our daily lives. We pause. We listen. We take notice of what is emerging through that body-sensing way that our feminine nature is designed for. We invite you to go out on the land to discover your own natural rhythms and your own rootedness. Come nourish the inner well and allow yourself to receive the gift of taking time to tend and befriend yourself.
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
This vision fast ceremony, led by two trained and experienced guides, involves four days of preparation, four days of solo, and four days of reincorporation. It will support and hold your journey. Through sharing circles, ceremony, the teaching of the Four Shields, and solitude on the land, you will have a chance to listen deeply to your unique voice and your own inner guidance. Wild nature is your mirror and source of transformation. Our women’s community is witness to the layers you shed and the new identities you may find.
